Memory Fade: A short memory platformer.

memory is never permanent. we unconsciously let go just as much as we do consciously.

sorrows. joys. guilts. promises. griefs. all gone.

names. places. things. thoughts. in my mind. everfading.

always hold onto that which is important.

Great game!

Story-wise, it gave me vibes of the Everywhere At The End of Time's 6th stage, especially towards the end. Seeing platformers and the theme of forgetting what you were integrated in both the gameplay and story is something I really appreciate, especially as someone who played a lot of similar games in the past (i.e. Omori, Save As (a GD Level), Limbo).

Gameplay-wise, I didn't really find much difficulty (yet this may be attributed to my previous experience with platformer games). I did occasionally use my taskbar's icons to guide me, especially for the levels with keys, so maybe find a way to prevent that if you would like. Some gamers may also not be used to spikes (especially the ones where you hit the ceiling), so it may benefit you to decrease the hitboxes of the spikes. Other than that, the gameplay was fluid for me and had appropriate world settings (e.g. gravity) and intuitive level design.

I am glad to be one of the first gamers to play your creation! Hope to see more of games like this in the future, but don't limit yourself :D

Wow! That was a really great game - even  though it was short!  I especially liked the ending!  Very cool!  Your page is very nice too!

I did use the cursor, level name and browser to help me for a few tricky parts - not sure if that would be considered cheating or not...

Do you think you could give me some feedback on my game? It's a puzzle platformer called Gravity Whipped. I have been working on this game for almost 3 years and would love to get some feedback on the demo.   It was also made in godot :)

Thank you.

I will check out your game when I'm free. Thanks for playing!
